Gym: All these startrac machines charge iPhone

I knew these startrac machines you could use your iPhone as input device but I never knew they could even charge iPhone /iPod that is freaking awesome. I wonder if it uses the energy which is generated when someone running on treadmill or if it charges using general electricity either case it's too good discovery

Gym :Hitech access, finger scanning system

Recently at gym they introduced new hitech access system it scans your thumb and log time you entered gym it's some Pegasus system. I would say it's pretty cool but what next retina scan ;-)
