Website says : Delivery Exception Held, unable to Collect Payment , Utter nonsense ... This is when no one Visited to Delivery package , No attempt was Made. i fail to understand why would Fedex India write incorrect & misleading information on its Tracking system ?
In morning i did Get Call from Some Guy he said some custom Duties are Due... and when guy comes for delivery i need to pay in Cash only.. ...as its residential courier i cannot pay by card or cheque. i Advised him to delivery in afternoon as i would make sure i am at home between 01- 4 PM.... i specially made sure i am Home.....But no one came but they updated false information in their tracking system.... This Just case of poor Customer Support
Called up Fedex india customer care at 1800226161: Guy says what was entered on Website for tracking Number may be Wrong & i should just Wait for package to be delivered, after advising him i cant be waiting whole dat at home just for package to arrive..... he took down my phone number & name advised someone will call ....
Received yet another call from fedex india : " sir by-mistake your courier had gone to our Fort office i am calling from worli, it would be delivered today... "
Globally you may think of Fedex as reliable Courier Service...... But Fedex india May not be.... it can be total mess......
if they charging 50 $ for international Priority service i do expect Better & less chaotic experience .... lesson learnt Next time Dump Fedex and Try DHL
